I’ll be downtown this evening candidly videoing bicyclists for my upcoming documentary film I’d Rather Ride In Springfield. So if you’re coming downtown by bicycle — and many people do — keep an eye out for me.
To update you on my progress: I’ll be getting interviews this month as well as more bicycling video. The gathering phase is moving along fine. But it may take me longer to edit than I had first supposed. That means two things may occur: 1) I may go with a 30-minute or 45-minute film rather than 60+, and 2) I may be a bit later than October in delivering the goods.
Another option: I may deliver a rough draft in October with the idea that Carbon Trace readers will then critique the film, and I’ll make a final draft based on your criticisms and suggestions.
No matter what, I’ll keep you posted.
For tonight anyway, ride downtown and look for me.
UPDATE: On second thought…

I HATE lightning. IMO, even nasty motorists are fare preferable…
