I’ve returned from vacation. Here’s what’s happening:
- School starts next week. I’ll be very busy with the start of the new semester for the next three weeks. Further, I have an essay due for the American Political Science Association conference at the end of this month (details here). So blogging here may be a bit spotty until mid September.
- Plans are moving forward for offering the CyclingSavvy course in Springfield this fall — 30 September and 1 October (check calendar here). I’ll post details very soon, including a sign-up link. This first class will be for women. This is a great opportunity to learn how to drive your bicycle safely in traffic. We’re not talking road warrior stuff here, just simple empowerment.
- I’ll have more to say about my observations of bicycling in Philadelphia and New York City very soon, including more photos — especially photos of bicycling infrastructure in NYC.
- Also in the works: more on train travel
