    I could replay this video all day. It’s great to see cyclists helping their motorists make smart decisions early. Did you notice the motorist about 38 seconds into the video? It illustrates the decision a cyclist needs to make about whether to move over before or after a motorist passes. I thought that guy was going to throw himself through the windshield he slowed down so fast. I’ll often delay my left signal until after the motorist commits to the pass, simply because they USUALLY react really strongly when they see a cyclist is going to move left.

    I’m not sure that guy was paying attention, he was definitely speeding. I can’t figure out if he intended to fly past me into the newly-formed left lane, or if he just had his head up his butt. That was actually a straight-arm “don’t pass me” signal, I’m pleased with how well it got his attention. I needed to keep him from passing us on the left because we were using the space to safely cross the angled RR tracks.
