It’s a gray, cold, yucky day. Luckily, I dress for riding a bicycle in cold weather. I find lots of appropriate bicycling attire in my closet — called clothes.
Here’s what’s happening:

I see no precipitation from my office window. But apparently it’s coming. Current conditions (1:30 CST): N wind @ 22 mph, 40 degrees.
I think it’s a good idea to check the weather before riding — easily accomplished through The Weather Channel online.
Today’s equipment includes my water-resistant windbreaker, Polar Fleece jacket, leather gloves with Thinsulate, and a fleece ear thingy that fits under hat or helmet.
I find that if my head and hands are warm, I’m pretty much good to go.
