I’m back in the saddle — on my bicycle and on Carbon Trace. For the next two weeks I’m reporting from Florida. I’m based in Naples. I’ll also make a run up to Orlando to hang with great folks who publish Commute Orlando.
I hope to publish some video. I have a camera mount for my DV (Kodak Zi6), but the first test yesterday was a bit disappointing. The camera is tall and thin. The mount fits securely to the handle bars of my Brompton, but the unit vibrates to such an extent that the resulting video is unwatchable. So I still have some tinkering to do.
I’ll publish some stills and commenary in any case. Stay tuned…

Looking forward to meeting you in person, Andy!

Keri… Sounds good. I have another trick or two to try.
Posted 28 Dec 2009 at 5:06 pm ¶Maybe the good Dr might be interested in meeting Dr Mills, director of Dear Mr Gore while sojourning to FL?
Peace Out (in chilling OH)!

Her video is waaaaay better than mine
It would be cool to compare notes. Do you know her?
Posted 29 Dec 2009 at 4:42 pm ¶I do. I will email and see if she and her husband can join us at B3. I’ve been meaning to get in touch with them anyway. We planned to ride together when the heat subsided… and it has.
Posted 29 Dec 2009 at 6:02 pm ¶Keri… Way cool!
Posted 29 Dec 2009 at 6:31 pm ¶Keri thanks for the followup, ask the good Dr Mills when the DVD will be available?
Andy, Dr Mills film should be good (she teaches film). I saw Mr Gore during a bike film festival in August. I liked it and though you might enjoy with blog titled “Carbon Trace”.
Cheers and Happy New Year!
