Coffee and bicycles are a good mix (hint hint to Mudhouse and Coffee Ethic). There’s a new coffee/BMX bicycle shop in town called The Hub located at 811 N. Boonville. It’s open six days a week and includes a wifi and fireplace.
Here’ a picture I found at the Vital BMX web site:

I know nothing about BMX. That whole thing began after my kid phase.
Coffee and BMX seem like an odd mix to me. But that may just be my age, which just increased by one today
I’ll check it out soon and give a full report.
The Springfield Foodie has more.

The Hub is awesome. The coffee is great and its just a nice place to chill. In this case coffee and bmx are brought together through the 2 young men that opened the shop. One of them Joe West is an amazing pro bmx rider who does stunt shows all over the country and was even the winner of the amateur Gravity Games a couple years back. The hub is a coffee shop that is connected to a bike shop. You wont find bike tubes next to the bean grinder. Be sure to check them out. They are great guys who love the company and conversation. My wife and I have been there almost everyday since they opened. The coffee amazing they use great beans and support locals as well.
