Ride Planet Earth

Kim Paul Nguyen is riding a chunk of planet earth to call attention to the roll the bicycle can play in reducing carbon emissions. He’s on his way to United NationsĀ  Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

For more on how bicyclists are trying to make a difference in climate change, check out this list on Biking Bis.

Nguyen is calling on bicyclists to get out and ride on 6 December to demonstrate the utility of utility bicycling — something Carbon Trace is all about. Remember the 1-Mile Solution?

I’m not big into formal rides. But I do plan to spend time on my bicycle that day being visible on the road. Join me!

Ride for me Dec. 6. I’m going to be stuck in a minivan all day, dreaming about high speed rail.

Believe me, I’ll make up for it in spades! I’m going to be so insane after being cooped up in a car for 9 hours, I’ll have to ride aimlessly around town for half a day just to get my marbles back.
