Civilization Now

I love living in an under-developed country because I know it’s possible to go from this uncivilized state…

…once we finally come to our senses.

It’s only a matter of time really. We’ll either begin to create an integrated public transportation system because we know it is the right thing to do. Or we’ll be forced into it by circumstances.

Those of us burning more calories than carbon are good to go either way. We’re living “as if” and making quality decisions for ourselves right now.

Just happened across this today as well: http://bikehacks.com/the-bicycle-cellar/ Similar facility in the US. Wish we had something remotely close to this here.

Brad… We’re working hard to ensure that any new CU bus transfer station downtown will have bicycle facilities of some sort. The START committee is shooting for something more than just a few racks. This cellar thing looks cool. I may have other interesting parking news after our meeting this Wednesday. Stay tuned.
