The bicycle racks downtown were full for the June edition of the First Friday Art Walk. If you live within a couple of miles of downtown, bicycling is really the best way to arrive. I almost feel sorry for those folks stuck in cars trying to pass through the intersection of Walnut and South, choked as it is with walkers

Do your own thing. Listen to the concert or read a book under a tree on the Square.
Getting around downtown on a bicycle is easy and makes good sense. Selling ice cream from a bicycle? Same thing.
Let someone else do the peddaling
Downtown is for art walkers. At Walnut and South — you drive, you wait.
Ride. Park. Play. Maybe make a few bucks during Artwalk.
