Tracy... Same early in the week. Today I was out a lot. Had several errands to run. I estimate 30 miles of dashing about town. I think there were more riders today.

We had vacation the last part of the week, so I only rode Monday and Tuesday for Bike to work. Unfortunately, if I exclude the kids on bikes around MSU and OTC, I think I only saw one other commuter on those two days.

This seems about what I noticed last year as well (although I think the weather was about as bad).

Jack... I like reporting :-)

Kelly... I appreciate your thoughts. Keep an eye out for more experiential stuff.

Speaking for me, I'd love to read more about your commutes.

I don't work outside the home, so by definition couldn't sign up for the bike to work week, although I do bike to the grocery store, drugstore, library and bank as often as possible. However, yesterday I biked to my husband's office for a meeting that I needed to attend, so I got a little taste of that.

I also think for people who are on the fence about commuting by bike, it would be useful to hear about how people who are actually doing it deal with things like hot or cold or rainy weather, positive or negative encounters with drivers, etc. You do share some of that, but more wouldn't hurt, IMO...

I really appreciate this blog.

It is a blog. It can be both if you want. Don't you think? Why constrain yourself to only reporting?
