Dirt Rag Planning Street Bike Mag

The publishers of Dirt Rag Magazine are planning to introduce a new magazine this spring about riding the streets–from commuting to road biking to family biking. Bicycle Times will begin publishing in April of 2009 and publish quarterly during the first year.

This is good news if commuting really gets some attention. I’ll remain skeptical until I see the first issue. And what I’ll be looking for is some kind of balance between sport-bike issues and everything else.

By the way…as an introduction, I’m also in Springfield, and commute by bike 3 days a week from out near Sam’s Club to CU on Central Street.

T- Yes. I posted a couple of things on this earlier.

I live near campus and commute to my office downtown (part of the MSU crowd taking over there)– about 2.25 miles.

I’ll get you linked… tomorrow. Right now it’s bed time :-)
